It seems that each year International Aid responds to a natural disaster, either in the United States or abroad. These disasters range from hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, typhoons and more.
The recent Typhoon that hit Philippines is no different. Thanks to the support of all of our donors International Aid is able to respond. We are processing 5 containers that will contain hundreds of pallets of products to be shipped off to those who have lost so much during the recent storm.
Although the needs will continue to develop as days continue to move forward, we are helping with needs that are immediate. These containers will include many items that are essential to helping those affected by Typhoon Haiyan move forward.
This first shipment will contain:
- Cleaning Supplies
- Toilet Paper
- Paper Plates
- Baby Formula/Food
- Over the counter medicines
- Hygiene Kits
- Latex gloves
While other products are still in the works, these items will go immediately.
Working with a partner organization that already has feet on the ground in the Philippines, we will be able to distribute these products immediately upon their arrival. Praise God for allowing us to respond in this situation, the product donors for the supplies, and for our monetary donors who give of their resources to help others in these times of great need! Thank you and God Bless You!
