Imagine you are a young boy or girl in a third-world country. You wake up sick. Maybe it’s a cold or a fever, but you’re sick enough you can’t go about your normal day.
Helping the family gets put on hold.
Going to school is forgotten.
If you could just get some medicine to lessen the symptoms of your sickness you could get through the day and not feel miserable.
The United States has access to a large number of medications. Whether it is over-the-counter or prescription, if we are sick we’re often only a phone call or short drive away from getting relief for our symptoms.
Unfortunately, not everyone has this opportunity.
This is where you come in.
Because of your help and donations, we are able to provide a variety of non-equipment medication to those in need.
Personal care items
These are just some of the products your donations help provide.
Nutritional supplements help stop hunger before it becomes widespread. World hunger is a big issue, and we are thankful to help support the alleviation of this issue through nutritional supplements.
Clean latex gloves, bedding, and bandages enable doctors to do their work effectively by using health items. These materials are vital to clean working conditions.
Over 2 billion people live with a chronic lack of “micronutrients.”
This is called “hidden hunger.”
By providing vitamins to those in need, we are helping them receive the nutrients their bodies crave.
Keeping up a healthy level of personal hygiene helps stop the germs before they become an issue. Providing personal care items is one of the front lines of defense when it comes to battling germs. (That being said, remember to wash your hands this flu season!)
We are thankful for your support in all these areas!
Together we are impacting the world by serving those in need and ultimately, sharing the gospel with those we are able to help.
