February, the month our nation shows love for one another. It is not just a month for couples, but a month for everyone to show the love of Jesus. Hundreds of people came out this week to show love by packing hygiene kits for people in need. Together, we packed 20,000 hygiene kits!
We are so thankful for the many who showed up at International Aid this week to help pack hygiene kits.
Love is often said to be an action word, and this week we saw love portrayed through hours of hard work. Your effort will bring impact to so many!
1 Corinthians 12 tells us we are the body of Jesus Christ.
“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ… Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
In this chapter specifically, the hands of the body are referred to as needed.
While every part of the body is vital, it is encouraging to see one part of the body come together in unity and in service.
The work of your hands will help provide those in need with basic hygiene items.
The work of your hands shows how the body of Christ works together.
The work of your hands shows those we serve the love of God.
The work of your hands makes a difference.
To everyone who came out and helped pack hygiene kits, thank you!
Thank you for showing love this holiday, and participating in the work of the Kingdom of God. We love serving with you!
