Volunteers make Hygiene Kits for Haiti
1/16/10 Spring Lake, MI - International Aid volunteers were working hard on Saturday to put together Hygiene Kits for the Haiti earthquake victims. 4,550 kits were made in about 4 hours by 36 volunteers. 12 member assembly lines were created where 430 kits were made every 2 hours.
“Everyone had a great time”, said Lyda Fish, Volunteer Coordinator for the agency. “I had comments like, “When can we do this again?” and “Do we have to stop?”.
